Yeah..I've been reading Iona's entries and I recommend that you do as well! Why you may say? is because she has great insights into things that you normally wouldn't really think about. So I thought this one particular entry she typed up was pretty interesting..so I'm posting it up here...
PERFECT SOMEONE... Your perfect someone is not what you ideally consider to be perfect, but someone who perfectly matches you-- like someone who is just like you, but of the opposite sex. Sorta like clothing-- i know, i know; weird analogy, but it does make sense-- You want someone to mix & match with your personality, is always ever-changing & altering for novelty & excitement (like style cuz u get tired of the same ol lame ol!), complements (as well as compliments!!) you, de-emphasizes your flaws, brings out your better qualities, makes you feel comfortable, makes you feel good about yourself, & looks good too... fo sho naw wha ah mean! Clothes are supposed to represent who you really are... & so should your perfect someone. They're just like you-- have a lot in common with, but sticks out were you stick in (u know what i mean! get yer head outta the gutter). Opens your mind & stimulates you. People tend to set their standards either too high or too low when what they really need is someone who is equal to them- simple as that. Pretty obvious, but people look above, below, & all around when what they've been searching for has been right there in front of them.

....Have You Ever...
Have you ever gotten so quickly mad that your blood pressure jump so high you just wanted to hit something?!?!! Well I never have until today!!! I went to school this morning and Asian Am. was just mainly presentations and math was just the same. Went home and my sis told me to get ready a 'lil later after getting comfy in my pjs to go w/ her and my bro to Horton Plaza.
My sis and I picked kuya up @ Goodyear and we headed down to Horton. There we window shopped for what we wanted for xmas so we'd know what we'll get each other. We get to Nordstrom and walked around for a while and having fun until we were by the escaltor. I sense someone walking behind us and the next thing you know..he starts saying something like..walking so slow...IDIOTS!.. I didn't care until my bro started saying something to us..he asked if we heard what he said..and I said did he say IDIOTS towards us?!..he said yea..and that's when we were heading up the escalator and that man was on it also. My bro had to say something to the jackass cause he was being one! So my bro said something and the guy started acting like a kid! and he's like 50!!! he's like you want to take this outside punk! I'm all what the?! you know! and he gets off the escalator and goes on the other on the way up and he said something like "Acting like you OWN the place" ...then I HAD to SAY SOMETHING. I was all WHAT?! What are you talking about? do you EVEN UNDERSTAND our Language?! *cause we were talking in tagalog then* so then his ass got quiet and I said YEA That's RIGHT You better stay QUiET! lol...and my sister butted in saying Man just shutup! lol!..Oh man! Once I said something, my blood raised through roof and I wanted to hit something!!!! WOW!
I wasn't going to say anything until he said that. Cause I know that once I say something, I'll only be part of the problem! But yeah..later we thought about it again and realized that he most likely had some kinda problem cause his ass was acting like a kid! and he walked all different..so yeah..Kuya said he wouldn't have said anything if he knew that he had problems. But yup! what happened happened..and I guess you just go through those in life sometimes. And I guess sometimes it's okay to stand up for yourself instead of letting others step on you. I don't think I'm really the type to step up unless I know it's right. And I know how I feel when I do get mad..it's tough and you can't control yourself!...whew!
Anyways..just wanted to bring that up and get it out of my system! cause thinking about it only makes me mad! When it comes to family (& friends) I stand up for what's right..haha..at least try to. I guess they're right..the ones who are quiet and mostly happy are scary when they're mad!..hahaha..jk?!?..lol. Okie..tha'ts all! Take Care EVeryone!! ;D

Day off yesterday and no school so I thought it was a good time to hang out w/ friends I haven't seen in a while. I drove to Fashion and met up w/ Na around 10 and she drove us to Clairemont, but it was closed so we went and picked up her former co-worker and we all headed to Lucky Star @ Euclid I belive? and met up w/ Luck, Rolo, Thao, and "Goku" and ate some Dim Sum! That was my first time and Cheryl's too! and she's soo funny! I thought she was Chinese or so, but she was Filipina! wows! hehe..later I found out she's married and has a kid and wow! she looks good for having a baby! I didn't exactly know what to do during the Dim Sum, but I just ate what they picked out. Thanks Thao for picking the tab! that was sweet of him! and the bill wasn't that bad at all! for about 6 people, the tab was abouy $37! sweet huh?
Anyways, after eating, Luck had to leave for a class, Thao and Goku went somewhere else and the 3 of us Na, Cheryl, and I headed back to Cheryl's work where we stayed a while to kill time. Na and I then headed back to Clairemont to BUY my PLANNER! YES I know..I bought it! ack! XT But yeah..I think it's worth the buy?! haha...you guys are prolly thinkin I'm crazy..but eh..it's ok..I'll be using it anyways right?! haha
After the planner buying, Na and I headed to Fashion again to kill more time. There, Na told me about this guy that gave her a headset for a cheap price. So I thought HEY! I need a headset so maybe I can get one too! lol! so we tried our luck, and that guy was there. He had a customer first then helped us out. I asked if he had a headset for my phone and it so happened that he ad some misc. stuff in a bag. I tried one of the one he picked out which didnt' work and then tried the other and that worked out. I asked how much it was, and he said it was free! I said thanks and we then left, but I felt bad so Na and I decided to buy him some candy and gave it to him. So the headset caused me $3.85 or so (fr. the candy) but it's ok! it's better than buying one in the store for a higher price right?! lol!
When that was over with, we went to D&B to meet up w/ another friend we haven't seen in a while Kenney. That was my first time there and it was cool! He gave both of us Spongebob stufftoy when we saw him and I thought that was sweet! we headed to In & Out where he treated us and caught up w/ life. We then headed back to D&B and waited for his friend to get us in. There, we mainly just took booth pics which was fun! I'll go scan them and post it up here when I can! Kenney had a night class so we left off w/ our see you laters and hang out again some time! Na and I then headed back to Fashion to meet up w/ the bf Thao and his friends. We went to Macys to get the present Na wanted to get for her "kid" and then we watched Gothika. Jan and Kathy so happened to watch the same movie so I saved 2 seats for them. Na and Thao had their own seat and while I was waiting for Jan and Kathy, one of Thao's friends went up to me and said that they saved a seat for me w/ them! I said I was waiting for 2 of my friends so I was fine! I said thanks and thought that was sweet of them! ;)
I thought the movie was pretty good! so I recommend it! I said bye to Jan and Kathy and Thao and his friends left also. So then Thao, Na, Me and Thao's bro headed to Jamba Juice. There, tried to see what to do and while we were, I standing by my car when I saw a car driving by..I thought HEY! that looks like JODIE! then I thought is it?! then I said..that really looked like her! I noticed her hair! then I thought..who'd be driving a Corolla(sp?) then I saw JEN! lol! and that was funny! We all shouted and screamed like we haven't seen each other in years! lol! that was funny! so there, the 3 of us talked about what we just did. They watched Timeline which they DON'T RECOMMEND! lol! and we talked about planning another get together! lol..the 3 of us will be planning it so can't wait! ;D Hahah..wierd how I hung out w/ not just Na, but w/ other friends too that you accidentally see your way! lol..so wierd but cool! hahaha!
So after some more laugh, they went their way and I decided to go home as well since I still have a long way home. I said my goodbye to Na and Thao and said that we'll all hang out again! And soOo..that was my WHOLE DAY! lol! I was tired! lol..up @ 9 and slept @ 12 or so..lol! but it was fun fun! new things and I mainly spent $ on my planner! hahah..thanks guys!! ;D Until next time!

...That's Life...
Welp, what a day! Asian Am. was interesting. I decided to just do my presentation even if I never really practiced or knew what I was suppose to do, but I guess it was ok. Got nervous for some reason..haha and it's wierd now cause I get nervous the first few mins. everytime I go up infront of people. I guess things have changed..haha..I'm not so used to just getting up and performing infront of people like back in the days during my elementary years. But yeah, at least that's over with now. I just forgot to ask for my grade so ack! maybe on Wednesday I will. Math was the next class and I got my test back. I knew I wasn't going to do so well in that class so eh..yeah. I just need to get myself together to be able to concentrate more..eversince that big project for Asian Am. I got really LAZY to do anything..I'm in need of a vacation..;T
Anyways, talked to Jon w/ the Posse in btwn classes and thought about joining their choir since I wanted to get into singing again just to get that singing voice back....hahah.as if huh? but just maybe. After math, I went to financial aid office to see if I can get any financial aid...hopefully I do cause I went to the financial office right after and my classes are expensive next sem. It's understandable due to the buget crisis and me taking 18 units..so I guess it all adds up. I'm just HOPING that my next pay check will be worth at least most of what I paid for and HOPING that financial aid will help me in some way...;I Thanx Mae for hearing me vent after paying! hahaha..such a pain in my pocket that's all...haha..and I guess I won't be buying the planner anytime soon?!? I'll just see..
Went to the library right after school to return a book I never really used..haha. And now I'm home. I don't really feel like going to work today, but I do need that money...ah..I guess that's life for me!..hah..I know some have it worse but yeah..just venting here too..lol...
Yeah! new template! hehe..been wanting to change this, but just haven't found time. But I have now..how does it look?! And since I'm here, I might as well update on what I did today. I just went to my classes and met up @ bro's house so Azel and him can accompany me to my trip to Clairemont. My point of going there was to buy a planner, but fo some reason, my card wouldn't go through even if I had enough $ in it. I guess it was because it didn't go through before that they don't want to go through the hassle again. But it's ok..maybe I need to buy it next time. It's a $45 planner and do you think that's too much?! but I do buy about $12-$14 of the other kind of planner annualy so that also adds up. With this planner, it looks like it'll last me a while sicen it's leather...haha..I need an opinion on this..please help!
But yeah, ended up not getting it, but we ended up eating cause I was getting dizzy like whoa! hahaha..but yeah..we got som Quiznos(sp?) and boba @ Tapioca. They made my drink too sweet today but it's ok..too bad the machine broke down on our drinks @ GreenTea. Thanks Azel for the drink by the way! ;) Oh yeah! I got to go to the Japan town today and that was fun! ;) After the fun up there, I watched Gremlins 2 but dozed off for 15 mins. while Azel did for 1 hr.! hehe..thanks guys for coming w/ me! it was fun!!! hehe..'til next time!! ;D okie that's all! AhHh...crap! I have a headache and I believe it's all bec. of the combination of lack of sleep, tiredness, STRESS, and weakness. Went to work at 12 and didn't get home 'til 11. And so now here I am TRYING to FINISH my PROJECT for Asian Am. that's due TODAY! ACK!! I know it's my fault, and I coudlnt' go home earlier..but maybe if I didn't take the oncall, I could've gone home and finished it.but NOO..and what am I doing now? typing away here? K..just wanted to get the frustration out..ack! nite!

...Been a while...
It's been a while since I updated and a few events has happened that I don't remember much, but I"ll update about what's recent I guess so ;) On Friday, I went to class and stressed about how I would do on my math test. I'm thankful that he let us stay some minutes longer after class cause I was not even half way done when the class was over! ha! and thanks to the girl who came in REALLY LATE cause just for her, he extend a 'lil more time.
Anyways, after that, I was suppose to go tot he park w/ Mae and Eli, but I guess there was a change of plan, and I started stressing again. One beause I really wanted to go to my uncle's death anni. but my mom told me at the late min. and I had the GNO planned out a month before so I explained to her. So after I called her, that was off the stress, and there came the Spanish midterm and homework. Due to the fires, it was extended a week which resulted to my also extended procrastination. Anyways, Alll was well though cause I went out w/ the ladies on that day. It's also been a while since we all went out, and good thing Jen and I planned another! ;) can't have enough of them right! ;D
I got to PF Changs at Fashion and found Marvie there first and then everyone came in. We all got our tables, and our cute waiter assisted us w/ what we wanted to order. Lol..I just had to get the beam of light from the table huh?..lol! But it was all fun!! ;) We finally got to meet Marianne's bf Walter and he seems like a pretty good guy for her! so you go! haha..sorry for the whole camera thing..lol! at least we warned him that it's usually the "boyfriend's" job to take the pictures for the girls..haha..but thanks to digi cam right? we don't have to get so many cameras in there.
Anyways, we divided the bills in two which worked out fine, cause I got full! Thanks for the sweet dessert the other table shared Anh!..haha ;) They were the rich table!...lol! The "turon" was YuMm!! OoOo and the funny thing was, for our side, we ordered 2 fried rice and forgot that they give 2 different rice anyways! So we were bombarded with 4 rice all together! hahah..funny moment!We didn't spend that much, but it's always the get together and catching up that's worth it and PRICELESS!! ;D I love them gals! hehe ;D Until December!!..hoping I can get that day off!! *Crossing Fingers!*
So after eating, talking, and having some good laugh, we all walked around the mall to kill time. Most I believe went to a party? when I left to go home cause I then had a Spanish midterm to worry about. I tried to finish what I can regarding my homework cause it was from all the episodes we learned 9-13. I didn't sleep until 2 and I had to wake up at 8. OoOOo and guess what?!?!..I just wanted to do the homeworks cause he's picking names randomly and just those people's hws. So that day, 3 names were picked and my name WASN'T PICKED! SoO that SUCK NUTS!!!!...but I guess it's ok..I left some stuff blank anyways and it was just moslty bs spanish!?..ahaha
Anyways, after school and not getting enough sleep, I went to home to get ready to go to work. Work was Crazy!!..I worked from 1-10 and could'ved and would've loved to stay for overtime, but I got an e-mail from Christine who came down here to SD from SF for a conference or so w/ the girl group she is managing. She was really nice enough to make me a copy of her presentation. I got to hang out w/ her and her girls afterwards and I even got a 'lil taste of how they sounded. I got goosepimples and I hope that they DO MAKE IT someday! I told them that I'lll see them in the future when they make it ;) now that I think about it, I should've gotten their autographs! hahah..but they're cool! I got to see them behind the scenes!..haha..got some grub at Del taco and went to their hotel to watch SNL. Their group is called IMMIJ by the way! ;D I told Christine to let me know of she's going to do any Filipino events down here in SD so I can go and invite people to go as well. She has hook ups w/ the old singing groups she said and will actually call them for me if I wanted to interview them for my research project. lol..and wow! she's all tiny, but she has a BIG job!..haha...glad to know her though! ;) You'll never know! they'll get famous one day!..haha..I think I"m getting into this whole Filipino events stuff now..HmM..;)
Anyways, got hom at around 1sh last night from that and forgot that I had work at 10 today!! I over slept and woke up at 10:30!!! so I was an hour late, and this time, it was not due to traffic! Surprisingly, I was NOT the ONLY ONE!..haha..Neo said that I was not the only one showed me that others were 45 mins. late and so on and I was relieved. I told her I stayed longer last night too cause it was a MESS! and I had a valid reason.
So work today was new. Worked from 11-8 and was replenishing. It wasn't that bad and I've always thought how it would be to just replenish. I was working w/ Miriama and Rosella anyways so it was cool! I got to see my two uglies and Monkey butts! haha..so it was fun! but it was embarrasing cause I was a 'lil TOoO open today..hahah..Thank EdhOEardo for telling me..I guess ;T
