A special moment, once in a lifetime for most, very expensive, but priceless in the end with the memories made. My cousin's wedding was held at the Marriot Hotel in Coronado Island around 5 August 28, 2004. It got us all emotional to see her walk down towards the aisle and that was just the start because later on during reception, we had other moments.
The ceremony was nice and sweet even though technical difficulties occured, but other than that, everything was nice and dandy. The reception never had a dull moment and I danced the night away like my lola! lol! I think she danced more than I did lol! :) She's so cute haha ;) Other than a wonderful moment and hard work and staying up late to get things done, the wedding was success! ...Its My Bday and I'll Cry If I Want To...
This morning I was running late like usual, but I thought I'd take a chance at getting a parking spot by the tennis court since my class is by there. To my luck, I found one! and I thought wow! it must be because it's my birthday today! My day in school turned out good and when I got home, I surprisingly found my dad home. He had a doctor appt. today that's why he was home early and so he invited me to go eat lunch. We went to Hometown Buffet for a lunch date and had a good conversation there along with good food.
We went home and later my sister came home and then we headed up to pick up our dress for my cousin's wedding this Saturday. We tried on the dress, paid her and we headed home where I rested. I then woke up around 5 and my sis and I headed to get our nails done @ Eastlake as my cousin's gift to her bridesmaid. We arrived there right on time, and I had a really really good pedicurist(sp?) lol! But she was cool, but I think they were making fun of my crusty feet in Vietnamese cause they were looking @ me like wha?! LOL! But everything went well though even though I was worried that they'd get mad @ us for getting our nails done already and not waiting for them. But they were ok with it since we still had some good talks there!
After getting our nails done, we were already running late for a dinner reservation the family had just for this occasion. Kuya called ate to ask where we were and she told him that we were almost done. It was a reservation in Mira Mesa and we finished around 7 p.m. I called my kuya again to tell him that we're really running late but on our way home, but I can tell he was getting mad.When we were about to get on the freeway, popos were blocking the way to 805 south and so we were running later. I called my kuya again to tell him that we're really running late and then he said that our reservation is already gone and was mad and I just couldn't help by cry cause I felt like I was ruining a family dinner you know? So I hung up and my sister called them back and got mad lol! I felt her love then haha, but my ass cried, but we ended up eating dinner @ Black Angus where we had our family time.
The first time I cried on my bday I think? lol What a baby! hahah..a sign that I'm leaving my teens But it's ok! I'm actually TWENTEEN!! Yeah!!! lol! haha! But yeah, I want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! From the Bottom of my HEART to ALL that greeted me through TEXTS, XANGA, AIM, and PHONE CALL!! I didn't expect anyone to remember my bday, but you guys made my day!! Thank You all once again, and I'm sorry if I couldn't text back cause I'm really limited w/ text now . THANK YOU! once again to every single one of you!! I Love You All! and Thank You for being in my 20th year of life here on earth!

Yeah, that's my horoscope for the day and again, it makes sense. HmMmM. Anyway, first day of school today and it wasn't that bad. I woke up at 6, got to school at 7 and didn't have class 'til 9 to crash, but its ok since I at least got some parking. Maryanne was my shadow for the day and crashed classes with me. After my last class, I headed home to do some "business" hahah Jing would know then headed to Maryanne's to get her piercing. We went to Leftys but unfortunately they didn't have the materials needed for her earing. Wednesday it is and hope I'm not working! So then we met up w/ the some of the posse @ "Viejas" and got some grub and chatted like the usual great stuff! :) Now I'm home and I just want to got o sleep! haha I was going to crash a 7 o'clock math class, but I KNOW that I'll just end up dropping that since it's WAY toOo early! :( I'll just have to push myself w/ this self paced class PoO! ...1 week...
Yeap! I only have 1 week of vacation left this summer, 2 weeks total all together for this summer :( BumMer! But I almost got the whole week off this week! haha except Fridaya and Saturday! I know! PoO I get off @ 6 on Friday though and 8 on Saturday so that's still not bad! Good thing I don't get off @ 12 AGAIN this Saturday cause that woul suck ass.
But yeah, this summer overall has bee great! I was not really expecting anything this summer, yet a lot of great memories were made this summer! :) Friendships made, friendship bondings, fun stuffs, learning about myself, and more! With that at hand, yesterday was one of those days that was a good part of summer.
Originally, the posse was suppose to go bowling for Roses' bday/going away party? haha, but that didn't exactly happen. Rose ended up having to leave at 1 instead of 6 and others had things to do. So it was just me, Buman, Lhea, and Louis. We went to the 32nd base, but it ended up that there was a tournament going on, so we all just ended up eating at In and Out. That was fun stuff and that ended our get together. I stayed at Mae's for a few mins. then called Jing to see what she was doing since I didn't have work 'til 8. It ended up that she was going to Belmont and so I came along and went to her house.
When I got to her house, Marvin and Ronnie was already there then we watched the special parts of the 13 going to 30 movie. After Jing got ready, we all headed to pick up Chas. There, we went to Seaport where we walked around, got "lost" in the beautiful art gallery haha, and went to my fav. bookstore minus the oh so many people in it. After the fun laughter and Shakespeare's put downs that Jing and I muched enjoyed, we then headed to Coronado to Ferry landing where we spent about an hour or so having fun. I saw Mary there, an old classmate, and introduced her to everyone. We then went on the pierre where I did not get scared going to because it wasn't that high and the railing looked safe. Nick met up with us there then we checked out the stores. Funny moments at the stores "That looks like something you would wear in a mardigra-w/o knowing owner standing behind" "That picture looks like the Indian guy in the movie theater where the tells you to be quiet" "That looks like it was photocopied!-referring to a drawn picture"-"I bet you that was photocopied at kinkos"-"If you look behind the paper, you'll see Kinkos on it" hahahah! Fun stuff! Then we headed back down the four of us Jing, Ronnie, Marvin, and Me back to Jings so I can go to work. Work by the way was ok! Worked 3 hrs. since they were cutting hrs., but at least I got my job done :) and I got to rest.
Today, went to the 8:30 mass w/ the parentals then later helped mother cook lunch to bring to my cousin's house. We went to their house to pray the rosary for the safety of my cousin's mom's operation tomorrow. Please pray for her as well :) After that, it was quality time w/ kuya. We headed to Mission Old Navy, the one I DO NOT LIKE bec. of some bitchy manager I encountered, but this time the manager was really cool! Kuya ended up buying 1 shirt there and bought me 2 purses for $7.50 each :)Then we went to Fashion Old Navy cause that's where they had the sizes of the shirts he wanted so that was cool! :D Plus it was the last day of friends and family week so he got the discount :D
When we got home, we just rested a bit then headed out again to his friends house. I watched King Arthur, a good movie may I add, and I saw Jade! wow! I haven't seen her in how long and she's pregnant! Congrats girl! ;D Small world I tell you! Then we all headed to Brunswick after to go bowling. I asked Buman and Louis what time the 32nd base closed, but they both weren't sure so we just headed there. The games were cheap so we played! ;) It was fun times!! and I became the designated driver! lol! :D Good thing it was an SUV! hah! And that was it! Good times w/ kuya since I haven't talked to him in a while! He's always working and I have the late hours of work so we don't get much quality talk time anymore, but this time, it was good! :D Thanks for the "present" kuya! hahaha! Love you!
So this week, I'm open, except Friday-working 2-6, but I'm avaib. after 6! and after 8 on Saturday!!! so call!!!! Please?! hahah I have to do something BEFORE school starts!!! :T Well, hope you all had a great weekend!! take care and God Bless! *muah*

...Spinach Dip...
Today was the second before our last day (hah) and it consisted of our presentations. The class also had a potluck and as we ate the groups in our class did their presentations. Two groups only got to present today including mines, but at least it's over and done with. Funny how there were originally 45 or so of us in that class in the beginning and there's only about 11 of us left. Surprisingly, a lot of food were brought and they were all YumMy! I tasted the Spinach dip that someone brought cause I have been eyeing it hah! and OoO it was YuMmy! it really went well with the sour bread too! I've tasted spinach dip before, but I got tired of it really easily because you can really taste taste the spinach. I have a new fave. now! lol! Jing's fav. is the artichoke(sp? hah) dip, and mine is the Spinach Dip! OoO Haha, but in the end, everyone got to bring food home, and some Milano cookies cause this girl Raquel in our class' bf works for Pepridge(sp?) Farm so he gets stuff for free! Lucky! haha ;)
Since we had a few minutes left after the two presentations, our teacher showed us a slide that she made for us. We didn't exactly know what it was, but when the titled showed, I automatically thought it was sweet! It was called "Quotable quotes from the class of CD 170" They were all good and there was one that I had written and I thought wow! I wrote that! haha If I remember what it is, I'll post it up here! :)
Then, off to work I went at 3-7. My mom told me that my friend Kirra called me today, and I'm disappointed I missed her call cause she's a friend I haven't seen since 3rd or 4th grade! She moved to different countries, but she lives in Japan now and is visiting San Diego. She told me she's throwing a party here, so we'll see how that'll go! ;) I guess that's all for now cause I have to study for my FINALS tomorrow! :( Wish me luck! and after class, TIME TO HAVE FUN! hahah until next next Monday anyway :( Take CAre!
