...Birthday...
Another birthday to come and I am turning 23. How time flies. I've traveled a lot this summer and I've been to some fun adventures as well. Friends are moving on up with their lives from New York to Sacramento and it's all a transition to adulthood. I'm realizing that I need to get my act together and that I am getting older. *sigh* Though I know some of my friends are going to different places, deep inside, we know we will always be friends and that we will always meet in the end of the journeys of our lives. They're the friends that no matter how many times passes that we haven't seen each other, that once we get reunited, it's as if we just saw each other yesterday. Someday, we will all be accomplished and we will all travel to places everyone has. Talk about the stories of our lives and re-live each and everyone's stories.

...Happy Birthday Daddy!!!...
Happy Birthday Daddy!! Yes! It's my dad's birthday and I really want to wish him more happiness, health, love, and success in life. So what did the day consisted of being my dad's birthday? Well, my sister couldn't come to our adventure, but we spontaneously drove to Julian. Brother checked the weather and the news and it was said to be cloudy and slight rain.
So, we brought our jackets and to no surprise, it was a different cold than down here. But it was fun nonetheless. We bought 2 apple pies from MOM's store, walked around downtown Julian and ate at Buffalo. The restaurant is pretty small, but a lot of people goes there to eat. Some even left because it was too crowded. And another fun/exciting thing that happened around downtown Julian was when we saw 2 deers!! heheh!
Brother wanted to go to Julian to go pick apples at the groves there so we tried to look for one that he heard about. We found it, but it ended up being closed. So, we went on a hunt for the bread store that we went to the first time we went there w/c was back in '96. We found it and on the way of finding it, we also found an apple grove!! It was fun stuff, but due to the rain and cold wind, we were only able to stay there for 10 mins.
Lastly, we took a different route home causing us to pass by parts of San Diego we haven't been to before or just don't remember to going to. We passed by Ramona, Lakeside, El Cajon, and so on! A lot of nature and mountain stuff, but great times in deed!

...My 21st...
I never expected anything much for my 21st birthday and I guess that's always the best way to go! I ended up having one of the BEST BIRTHDAYS of my life and certainly one to go down my list!
The morning consisted of doing errands w/ mother and pampering myself afterwards by getting a pedicure and a manicure. I rested for about 30 mins. when I got home and I headed to Jing's to get ready for dinner w/ some of my friends.
Originally, dinner was suppose to be held in Gaslamp Strip Club (Steak Place), but not everyone was 21 so we had to abort that reservation even if the place looked really cool and classy! I didn't want to cancel the dinner since everyone was already coming down and I wanted to celebrate my birthday with everyone. So, what do we do? We walked next door to Dick's Last Resort and automatically got a table for the ~24 of us. It wasn't as nice and classy as GSC, but having great company was all that I needed!
I want to thank everyone who came by the way and I also want to thank the people who greeted me through the phone, texts, e-mails, Myspace, Friendster(yes I still go there! hah!), and air mail.
So at DLR, I took my first 21st shot w/ Jing w/ Yager(sp?) (Thank you Jing!) I chugged it down and started taking pictures w/ everyone. Bad idea to walk around taking pics w/ everyone when you just took a shot w/o anything much in your stomach! So, I got buzzed! Then before dinner came, our waitress gave me a small bottle of 20/20 or something and everyone cheered me on to chug that one down as well! hahah! Then that totally got me! Ate dinner, but didn't finish it! I was basically buzzed then became drunk! What comes next?! Puking! YES! I did and Thank you Chas for being there to help me out! Now I kinda know how bulimics feel like! Let's leave it at that!
After dinner, I felt so much better after that relief! Then the posse girls hit up GSC to get a drink there, but the bar was packed so we left. The rest of the girls: Tep, Ren, Joy D, Che, Mahrs, Mae, Jen, and Mars walked w/ us to look for a bar to hit up. The girls went to stores and the posse gals and I hit up a place called Lime. That wasn't really poppin, so we hit up Fridays, w/c was the original destination and so everyone can go. But in the end, Joy D, Marhs, Che, and Mae met up w/ us there and we had some good drinks there! Thank you Kristin for the drink!! I kept going in and out of the lady's room to get all the water I kept drinking from DLR since I was told to drink a lot of it! hahah!
While we were at Fridays, Kristin totally met a guy that gave us VIP passes to go to Martini Ranch. It wasn't poppin yet, but we just had fun anyways dancing w/ the bachelor who was having his bachelor party there! haha! And what a co-incidence, the stamp they were stamping on everyone said Olive on it! I guess it was really meant for me to have my 21st celebrated downtown! I also had a free shot there from the bartender who gave us the VIP passes!
After some minutes there, Jlee's brother called her and hooked us up w/ VIP passes again to a club called The Rox! It was sOoo much fun there! A lot Asians, but what do you expect right?! But I like the environment! I got the nerve to drag the guy Jing was eyeing to her and I'm glad she had fun! And I made my goal of dancing w/ a guy I was eyeing! And it so happen that I've seen the same guy at D&B and Rose and I was totally eyeing him then! hahah! So I did and goal accomplished!
What a 21st birthday! I did it all in one night! Get buzzed, drunk, puke, bar hop, dance w/ random guys, and certainly dance w/ some of my girls!!! I LOVE THEM! Special thanks to Kristin and Jing for dinner or whoever paid for my dinner cause I was too busy puking! And my drinks! and taking me there I Love You Ladies!! Chas for helping me in the bathroom and Jlee. Eliza, Joy D, Marhs, Che, and Mabell for coming at the clubs with us!! For the presents, Jen for the poster! Jan and kathy for the Hypnotiq, Eliza for the card and pic frame, Jing for the journal and earrings, Kristin for the books and shot glass, and lasty for everyone who came and remembered my birthday because all I really wanted was a simple greeting and your presence! Thank you all from the bottom of my little heart!

...I Miss It...
I miss it, having someone to hold and care for
I miss it, being in the arms of someone special
I miss it, the butterflies in your stomach, the one not caused by gas
(But the ones you get when you're about to see your crush)
I miss it, late night calls and random conversations
I miss it, simply sitting doing nothing, but feeling like you did a lot together
I miss it, feeling loved by a special someone
I miss it, cuddling and kissing
I miss it, being sweet and romantic
Oh how I miss these and wish to have more
But, I simply miss loving. Being able to love someone with all my heart and vice versa.
Learning from that significant other and growing together.
They said with love comes hurt, but I believe that regardless of the hurt you may feel, in the end, you at least had the chance to love and be loved in return.
In the long run, only you will grow wiser and will leave with your name etched on the person you loved's heart.

The Dream
>
>
>
>A man once dreamt that he was transported back in time to witness the
>crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
>
>In his dream, he saw how the crowds would jeer at the Savior and the
>Roman soldiers lashing Him.
>
>The agonies and cries of the Lord Jesus Christ so moved him that,
>
>In his dream, he lunged forward to prevent the soldier from hurting Him.
>
>As he jerked at the soldier's back, he got the shock of his life - for
>he saw that he was that soldier who was whipping Christ!
>
>At the end of the day, it was not the Romans that crucified the Lord
>Jesus Christ or the Jews that demanded His death,
>
>But it was you and I who caused Him to be nailed on the cruel cross at
>Calvary - "But he was wounded for our transgressions,
>
>He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was
>upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
